Rapper Ice Spice has infuriated fans after they noted her outfit choice for Sunday’s big game.
Ice attended the Super Bowl with her friend Taylor Swift, 34, but fans were distracted by her behaviour at the game, reports The Sun.
As the football game was under way, Ice, 24, and Swift supported the latter’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34, from a private box.
Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs took home the win, but fans at home were stunned by Ice Spice’s clothing and actions as she was filmed watching the game.
For the Las Vegas outing, Ice Spice wore all black, contrasting with her bright orange hair.
The singer sported a full face of makeup and long acrylic nails, and had a black bag slung over her shoulder.
However, some fans took offence to her choice of jewellery, with many noticing that she wore an upside-down cross necklace.
Other TV viewers noticed that her skin-tight black top was from Balenciaga.
The luxury brand came under fire for its controversial campaigns featuring children back in 2022.
Alongside her clothing choice, Ice Spice was filmed making horn symbols with her hands, with some fans linking the sign to a “demonic” meaning.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, fans blasted Ice Spice for her outfit and behaviour.
“Nothing to see here, just Taylor Swift’s guest Ice Spice throwing up demonic signs while wearing an upside down cross making sure the world sees it on the big screen,” wrote one critic.
“You called it. People ask why I don’t like them. I can feel their bad energy from a world away,” replied a second social media user.
“Notice the Balenciaga logo on the neck of her shirt?” asked a third.
“What in heaven’s name is going here? It looks like Taylor Swift’s guest, Ice Spice, throwing up demonic signs while wearing an upside down cross, making sure the world sees it on the big screen with Balenciaga on her sleeve,” a fourth NFL fan wrote.
Swift isn’t Ice Spice’s only A-list friend, with the star often hanging out with Kim Kardashian, 43, and North West, 10, at one of their many mansions in Los Angeles.
Ice Spice has featured in plenty of North’s TikTok clips, but Kardashian opened up about realising that Kanye might be right about the pre-teen’s social media use during an interview in the Time Magazine 2023 issue.
Kardashian confessed that the incident in which North rapped the mature lyrics of an Ice Spice song on TikTok earlier this year wasn’t her proudest parenting moment.
The reality TV star said, “As soon as I saw the words, I was like, ‘Oh no, we’re taking this down.’ I saw on the internet, (people saying), ‘Kanye was right,’ and maybe he was in that instance.”
Fans also thought that having Ice Spice and North hang out together was irresponsible after many slammed the mature dance moves and lyrics in one of their videos.
